The Sun Raiser [1995]
Original
Résumé This drama brings together Native people from North and South America in a ritualistic rebirth of their spirituality, a courageous reclaiming of their only territory that has remained
intact; their imagination. It is an act of courage that reveals the civilizing power of the creative
artist, the man of culture, and the shaman who, out of love for the world, wields invisible forces and symbols to unleash the power of dreams. Le Porteur des peines du monde was first presented at the Festival of the Americas in Montreal in 1985. The production toured Europe in 1989 and was presented at the Glastonbury Festival in
England, the Montpellier International Dance Festival and the International Summer Festival in Nantes, France. In 1992, it was presented at the first international gathering of Native community theatre in Oaxaca, Mexico. Extrait « RAVEN : GEEEEEEEET OUT! | GET OUT! GET OUT! | GET OUT!
