A satirical comedy. The North American family has an image problem. Its multiple transfigurations have made it difficult to present a clearly identifiable concept to the collective subconscious. Yet the desire for a model remains. The playwrights reinvent the modern family and delight in sullying its image. The story unfolds before our eyes like thousands of pixels in a photograph: what we see is but a fragment next to another fragment next to another fragment... A play that spares no one: parents, children and the family unit are all seen with a fresh eye. Transavantgard theatre meets Just For Laughs. C.B.
